Sandbags are commonly used on film sets, usually for safety reasons - they act as ballast for lighting stands, grip stands, booms, etc.

Steel Shot Bags are an evolution of the sandbag idea - at the same weight they are about half the size, more durable and ready to use when filled with steel.

The products are made from highly durable CORDURA 1100D fabric, known for its abrasion resistance and water repellency.
