The new Baseplate from 8Sinn comes in an unconventional shape in order to become a lightweight base for your camera. On either side of it, there are openings for 15mm rods. The rods are put in place with thumbscrews. The baseplate bottom includes two 3/8" threaded openings and one 1/4" opening to mount it on a tripod plate, or any accessory equipped with such mounting points. The top mounting groove allows flexible adjustment along the length of the plate. 1/4“ or 3/8“ mounting screws are supplied. On the top of the baseplate, there are protective and cushioning rubber pads.
