The Twin Alu tripod with twin tubes and mid-level spreader is a professional video tripod with an extremely rigid and stable construction, ideal for supporting professional cameras.

Twin Alu is an improved version of the iconic 545 and 546 video tripod series.

Its construction—featuring sections with twin aluminum tubes and advanced leg locks—provides unprecedented rigidity, significantly stiffer against torsional movements compared to previous models. This ensures smooth head movements and no unwanted vibrations.

It uses a standard 100 mm half-ball socket for mounting heads, plus a 75 mm reducer, making the tripod versatile for most Manfrotto video heads.

The MVTTWINMA tripod includes a mid-level spreader with telescopic arms, which further stabilizes the tripod and helps precisely position the legs. For easy folding and increased portability, the spreader has a loop on its central element that you pull upward to collapse the tripod. The spreader can be easily removed and replaced with a ground-level spreader (e.g., Manfrotto 165MV) or a compatible dolly (e.g., Manfrotto 114MV or 181B).
