The Gitzo side arm is a tripod accessory that allows you to position your camera at a 90-degree angle above or below the tripod tip, which could otherwise be hindered by the tripod legs.
It is available in both quick and gear versions and has a reversible 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch mounting spigot.The G532 is a quick and gear version made of durable aluminum. For optimum rigidity, choose a side arm with the same diameter as the tripod's outer part.
