The Gitzo Systematic GT5543LS is a heavy-duty, four-section professional tripod made of carbon fiber. It is designed to safely support long-lens cameras and heavy camcorders. Series 5 models are Gitzo's most rigid and durable tripods and, like the rest of the Systematic family, set the standard for strength, stability and modularity. The GT5543LS tripod's top yoke opens and closes to allow the mounting of a flat base, geared or classic center column, video hemisphere adapter, leveling base or other Systematic accessories.

The GT5543LS tripod weighs 2.82 kg and provides an exceptional lifting capacity of 40 kg, reaching a maximum height of 156 cm. The minimum height to which it can be extended is just 10 cm, and it is 60 cm long when folded.
