Softie wind shields are available in a wide range of sizes to fit the most popular shotgun microphones.

Both the acoustic foam and synthetic fur are made from materials specifically designed and manufactured for this purpose, resulting in wind noise reduction of up to 25 dB without compromising high frequency. In addition, the foam is not susceptible to UV radiation or moisture, giving this product a long life.
Advanced materials, adhesives and installation techniques make Softie an extremely durable product that provides superior wind protection in the harshest conditions.

Softie Windshields come in two fur length varieties, classic hair and short hair. The short-hair Softie, known as the Camera-Mounted Softie, has a closely cropped dark gray synthetic fur, and offers a lower profile and more compact design without seriously affecting the Softie's performance. It can also be mounted close to the camera lens without causing unwanted shadows.

Suitable for small-diaphragm condenser microphones, with slots no further than 7 cm from the front of the microphone and a diameter of 19-22 mm.
